Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026. Draft: this text is being reviewed by a lawyer before the public launch.

Dropolis is a game where you build a city and then a colony on Mars. This policy explains in plain language what the game collects and why.

What we collect

• A guest account. When you open the game we create an account for you with a random id and a device id from your phone, so your progress can be saved. No name or email is needed.
• Sign in with Apple or Google (optional). If you choose to sign in, we receive an account id from Apple or Google and, if they share it, your email address. We use it only to keep your progress across phones.
• Profile. The player name and avatar you choose, and your country (taken from your connection, you can change it).
• Game data. One cloud save of your game, and your scores for the leaderboards (city level, deliveries, Mars colonists).
• Gameplay events. Things like when a session starts and ends, tutorial steps, finished missions, level ups and your first rocket. We use them to understand where players get stuck and to make the game better.
• Online signal. While the game is open it tells our server every few minutes that you are playing, so we can count players online. We keep only the last time we saw you.

What is public

Leaderboards show your player name, avatar, country and score to other players. Do not use your real name as your player name if you do not want it shown.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.
• We do not use third party analytics or tracking tools in the game today.
• If a future version shows ads or sells in game items, we will update this policy before that version ships.

Where it is stored and for how long

Your data is stored with Cloudflare, our hosting provider, in the United States. We keep it until you delete your account. When you delete your account, your account, save, scores and gameplay events are deleted right away.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time, see Delete account. You can ask us for a copy of your data or ask a question by emailing support@promovote.com.

Children

Dropolis is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
