Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Short version: promovote.com does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. We only allow strictly necessary technical processing that keeps the site working and safe. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website can save in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and scripts that read information from your device. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these.
2. What we do not use
- No advertising cookies or ad pixels (for example, no Meta, TikTok or Google Ads pixels).
- No Google Analytics or other analytics that use cookies.
- No social media tracking buttons.
- No cookies that follow you across other websites.
We use Cloudflare's privacy-friendly analytics, which does not use cookies or similar storage on your device and only gives us aggregate numbers such as page views.
3. Strictly necessary technical processing
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, protects this website. Some of its security features may process technical data or, in some cases, set a strictly necessary security cookie. For example:
- Cloudflare Turnstile runs on the waitlist form to check that you are a real person and not a bot. It reads technical signals from your browser for this check only. Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not use this data for advertising. See the Turnstile privacy addendum.
- Cloudflare security services may set a short-lived security cookie (for example, one that remembers you passed a security check) if your traffic looks unusual. These cookies are used only to protect the site.
These items are needed to provide the service you ask for (the website and the waitlist form) safely. They are not used to identify you for marketing or to track you on other sites.
4. Why there is no cookie banner
Privacy laws such as the EU ePrivacy rules and the UK PECR require consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary. Because we only use strictly necessary processing, consent is not required, so we do not show a consent banner.
5. How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary security cookies or scripts, the waitlist form or security check may not work.
6. If this changes
If we ever want to use cookies that are not strictly necessary (for example, analytics cookies or advertising tools), we will first add a consent tool that lets you accept or reject them, keep them off until you agree where the law requires it, honor browser signals such as Global Privacy Control, and update this policy and our Privacy Policy.
