Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your PromoVote account and the data linked to it. PromoVote is published by Hazim Okutan on the App Store and Google Play.

Delete it in the app

1. Open the PromoVote app and sign in.
2. Tap Profile at the bottom.
3. Tap the ... button at the top right.
4. Tap Delete account and confirm.

You are signed out on every device right away and your profile is hidden.

Delete it without the app

If you cannot use the app, email support@promovote.com from the email address of your account (for Sign in with Apple, the address Apple shared with us) with the subject "Delete my PromoVote account". We may ask you to confirm the request. We complete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign in data (email, name, Apple or Google account link, sessions).
• Your profile: username, display name, bio, photo, links and settings.
• Your votes, saved promos, follows and blocks.
• For creator accounts: your promos, videos and their statistics.

When it is deleted

We keep a 30 day grace period in case the request was a mistake. If you sign in again within 30 days you can restore the account. After 30 days the data above is permanently deleted.

What we may keep

• Reports you made about other content, without your name, when we need them to keep the platform safe.
• Records we must keep by law, for example about a legal request.
• Anonymous view counts that are not linked to you.

Payments are handled by Apple and Google, not by us. Your purchase history stays with them.
